Faith & Food Friends,


Garden Helpers 

• We thank R. Boes for tending the garden last week.  
• Ryan delivered 5# of peas to Food Gatherers. 
• The Stobs have been tending the garden this week.
• Next week, VZs will tend the garden.

Garden Schedule 

We continue to have 2 weeks remaining that need volunteers to tend our garden.  They are:

• Sept 14
• Oct 12

Please let me know if you are willing and able to tend one or both of these weeks.

Other News that remains

1. The garden gate door has something chewing away at the wood, where the top and bottom sections meet.  It is noticeable when you open the door and look at the end.  I watched for a bit, but did not see any ants or bees coming and going.  Please keep an eye on this and notify me if you discover who are the intruders.  Thanks!
2. Our Faith and Food Garden Sign is in need of attention.  It has done well for 5 years, but now needs to be scraped, sanded down and some new polyurethane applied.  Is anyone able to do this from this group?  If not, could anyone recommend someone and even go a step farther and ask them if they would be willing to give our sign the attention it needs.  Please let me know.

Watering

•  Please turn the water on and off at the church spigot.
